Unformiliar Territory

Ok....So this is all new to me. I am experimenting with this blog phenomenon and I am going to do my best. A little about myself....The title of my blog says it best....Midwest girl in a state of Confusion. I am from Chicago and I miss it terribly! I miss the sports enthusiasm. You don't feel that euphoric feeling when watching the Arizona Cardinals play. You don't see fans banding together to cheer for their home team. In fact, most people in Arizona don't even like their home team! We all are from different areas and we stick to our home roots. I have moved to Arizona if you haven't gathered that. I still have that twangy, nazle accent and I get made fun of everyday for it. It makes me unique and I love that I haven't conformed to the native Arizona tedious lifestyle. I miss my Chic-aaaahhhh-go italian beef, hotdogs, pizza! The thought of Lou Malnati's makes me salivate! I am in a state of confusion, because I don't know where I am going in life. I can tell you one thing; I will be a success...A huge success! I will travel throughout the world....learn different cultures and respect those cultures. One of my goals before I die is to travel to Palm Island in Dubai. What a wonderful and majestic place. Expensive, but when I become a success, I assure you that is one of the first places I will visit. I want to run a hotel, possibly my own one day. It's a stretch but anything is possible. I attend Arizona State University, and I have met some amazing people there. I have traveled to many exotic places because of it. I love life and I live it to the fullest. I am told I am eccentric, crazy, outgoing, comical, spontaneous, needy, friendly, bitchy, moody, lively, exciting, self-conscious, spoiled, sweet, energetic, sporty, LOOOUDDDD, my own worst enemy, a best friend. I am a living oxymoron. I am going to leave you for now, but it's kind of nice to write my thoughts down and though I may seem like an idiot, well....that's ok...maybe I am.....
